Everyone, both adults and children, is warmly welcome to the ceremony.
We love your children, but after the ceremony, we will love their babysitters. The evening is for adults and children over 13 years old. Breastfeeding infants are, of course, welcome all day and night.

Ceremony location – Vejbystrand’s point
We will have only a few seats available for the elderly; the rest will stand during the ceremony. The point is grass-covered with some stones and sand. While the west coast is the best coast, the weather can be changeable. A few raindrops we can handle, but in case of worse weather, we have a backup plan.
Party location – Halmstad’s Officers’ Mess
The historic Halmstad Officers’ Mess was built alongside the regiment in 1906. We fell in love with the magnificent venue and the professional service. Feel free to learn more by following the link here.
Photography
We would also like to inform you that Halmstad’s Officers’ Mess is part of a protected area. This means there is a photography ban and restricted access to the area. So, no photography towards the area itself. We will remind you of this throughout the day. For our guests, this practically means the following:
- It is absolutely fine to take photos/film outdoors during the mingling, but not directly towards the area.
- Take photos/film as much as you like inside the mess, but again, not directly towards the area.
We have hired a professional photographer who will be with us throughout the day and evening. The photos and memories are all we will have left from this day. Therefore, we kindly ask that you experience the ceremony with us and remain present, without a mobile phone in front of your face. It will also result in the best photos for the photographer with a mobile-free ceremony.
